This year’s theme is “Tracing History’s Threads to Foster Global Unity”. Through education and dialogue, understanding these historical connections helps bridge cultural divides, promoting empathy and cooperation. By appreciating the diverse contributions of different civilizations, we lay the foundation for global unity. For this reason, BaMUN 2024 brings together a wide range of international schools and students to create a unique and diversified conference.

Where and When?

 BAMUN will take place at the International School of Basel, Switzerland (Fleischbachstrasse 2, 4153 Reinach) on the 23rd and 24th of November 2024.

Sat 23/11/24: 8.30-16.00 and Sun 24/11/24: 9.00-13.15

What?

BaMUN 2024 will offer a selection of councils for all delegate levels. Each council will be accompanied by chairs and respective administrative and press teams.

The debate topics in each council are unique and relevant to today’s society. More information on the topics and councils will be revealed in separate posts!

The dress code is centered around business attire. Students are expected to dress appropriately each day (ties and suit jackets for boys, appropriate attire for girls). Jeans are not permitted at the conference. Additional posts will be found on our social media pages.
